DR. ANNA SKALSKA
Anna’s passion for perfection and her caring manner is sure to make your visit a positive dental experience.
Anna’s first degree comes from Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Once in Canada Anna completed the full four years of dentistry at the University of Toronto to receive her 2nd DDS degree. She has also completed a Cosmetic Dentistry Residency at New York University. For thirteen years Anna was an associate Professor in the prosthodontic department at the Faculty of Dentistry at UofT.
Her patient’s comfort and well-being is Anna’s first concern. Anna possesses an amazing ability for getting to the bottom of hard to diagnose problems. Her boundless energy and enthusiasm is the envy of all – staff and patients alike.
Many of Anna’s evenings and weekends are devoted to attending courses to keep her on the cutting edge of technology – implants, root canal treatment and cosmetic dentistry to name a few.
DR. ALISON STRONG
Alison is a positive and caring dentist who practices patient centered treatment. General dentistry and on-going patient care is the cornerstone of Alison’s vocational work. Her patient’s comfort is of paramount importance and Alison strives to make each visit a pleasant one. With over two decades at our Bay Street location it has enabled the accumulation of a wonderful specialist network to fill referral needs.
Alison received her degree from the University of Bristol and started her dental career as an intern the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto. As an intern she gathered experience in various Toronto hospitals as well as outreach clinics in the far north. Alison continued to work at the University as a clinical demonstrator once a week for the next eight years.
Alison joined this practice immediately after the completion of her internship and has continued to enhance the office with her pleasant personality and dedication to the care of the patients.
Alison always makes time to keep up with innovative procedures especially her special interest in the field of implantology.
DR. SHARAN GOLINI
Dr. Golini, our resident Periodontist received her training at the University of Toronto. She has been a periodontist since 1995 and has been with our practice since 1998. Through her we are able to offer our patients immediate access to specialist care without having to travel to another office.
Sharan’s presence in the office allows us to offer you the patient a full range of periodontal scaling, dental implants, periodontal surgery, both soft and hard tissue grafting and removal of intraoral lesions.
DR. LAURA SANTORO
It was with great enthusiasm we welcomed Dr. Laura to our practice. Laura brings her enthusiasm and experience to our office every Friday and two Saturdays per month.
Laura is graduate of the dental school at the University of Western Ontario and completed her undergrad at U of T. She continues her commitment to learning through many continuing education programs. Laura’s experience was greatly expanded working with the outreach programs in Canada’s great north.
Interacting and connecting with her patients is of vital importance and enjoys all aspects of dentistry. She is passionate about maintaining optimal oral health for all her patients.
Away from the office Laura finds time to enjoy the things she loves – piano, painting and drawing as well as travel.
DR. JOSH RESNICK
Dr. Josh received his DMD at Temple University and as well Honours Specialist with distinction in Nutrition and Biochemistry from U of T.
We are happy to have Dr. Josh join our team with his knowledge and years of experience. His expertise in orthodontics, oral surgery and root canal treatment allows treatments to be completed in our office. For your added comfort and ease during treatment Dr. Josh can administer nitrous oxide (laughing gas).
Ellen is our office manager and a permanent fixture at the front desk since the late eighties. During these years Ellen has gathered a wealth of knowledge to answer your insurance and treatment questions. She will always greet you with a smile – as you walk through the door or when she answers your phone call. Ellen is our driving force, keeping tabs on office protocol and encouraging the use of the most up-to-date dental software programs.
Claudia is our receptionist and recall co-ordinator. Claudia will cheerfully help you arrange your appointments and process your treatment and insurance claims. If you are a little behind in scheduling your checkup, Claudia will be on the phone giving you a gentle reminder to do so.
Nancy brings her years of dental experience to our front desk on Saturdays.
Nancy has worked in dentistry as both an assistant and a receptionist. She is a people person and enjoys the interaction with patients.
Nancy's love of travel has taken her many places including a two year stay in Australia working with the Flying Doctor Service.
Martha, a Dental Hygienist from George Brown has been with our practice since the nineties. Martha is dedicated to staying abreast of all the changes and intricacies of dental hygiene and shares this knowledge with all.
Martha took a few years sabbatical from being a practising hygienist to be a college instructor for dental hygiene students. We are glad to have her back practising in our office while still continuing her role as part-time instructor.
When Martha is away from the office she enjoys her vacations travelling with her daughter.
Roza has been a dental hygienist in our practice since February 2006. She came to fill in a maternity leave and has never left!
Roza graduated with a Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from National (Melli) University in Tehran and held a full time position there until her arrival in Canada. Roza passed the Canadian National Boards and started her GTA career as a hygienist in general practice as well as periodontics.
She is keen to stay at the top of her field which in turn allows her to offer the best care and knowledge to her patients. Roza achieves this by being an active member in two Study Clubs and the Ontario Dental Hygienist Association.
Away from the office she loves to spend time with her family and friends and travel.
Tanaz is a Dental Hygienist. She fist started with us as a 'temp' hygienist covering for staff as needed. We liked her so much that she is now a permanent hygienist on our team.
Her expertise and gentle touch reassures even the most nervous patient. She enjoys caring for her patients and sharing her knowledge enabling them to obtain and maintain high levels of oral health.
Sarah is a graduate of George Brown College and holds a BA from McMaster University. She loves being a dental hygienist and takes pride in delivering quality care for each person based on their individual needs and the patient’s best interest. Sarah enjoys promoting the link between oral health and overall health.
At home Sarah tries to exercise and eat well and share this with her family and two children. She loves to travel and enjoys learning new languages.
Since her graduation from the Level I and II assisting programmes at George Brown College in 2000, she has worked in areas of endodontics, periodontics and general dentistry. With the years of dental assisting experience coupled with her love of dentistry she decided to further her education and in 2009 received her Dental Hygienist Diploma. Since 2011, Alicia has worked in a dual position in our practice, always willing to fill which ever position is required.
Alicia enjoys the field of healthcare and takes pleasure in sharing her knowledge with patients to better their oral health.
Naila is a Level II dental assistant. Naila's natural caring and kindness are a great asset in easing patient's stress during treatment. Her assisting skills and experience allow her to anticipate the next procedure and keep her appointments running smoothly.
Naila is the quiet member of our staff, her quiet calming demeanor is appreciated by all.
Florence is a Level II dental assistant. Her knowledge and skill is very apparent in the variety of treatments she so capably assists the dentists with.
Florence is our representative with the Dental Practice Safety Club. It is her responsibility to keep us on the straight and narrow and within the guidelines of the Ontario Occupational Health & Safety Act.
